Camp-in a Kit
A week-long program where campers can learn at their own pace. We’re dedicated to making sewing FUN and easy to learn for kids (and adults)!
Learn to sew (together) this summer! This full beginner sewing course includes their very first sewing kit, all woven into a step-by-step magical story. This camp in a kit is designed for busy families craving a summer of hands-on creativity and connection.
No experience is needed.
Parents, guardians, grandparents — your only job is to encourage and connect, like only you can do. You may also learn a thing or two!
Camp-in-a-Kit: Hand Stitch Harbor
Throughout the week, we will focus on different tools, techniques, and sewing styles so that your camper will walk away with a sash full of badges and a new skill set, including:
Supply Station
Gather your gear and understand what each tool can do for you as you embark on your sewing adventure.
Needle Nest
Meet the different types of needles you will need for your hand-sewn projects.
Thread Thicket
Learn about different thread types, why they matter, and when to use each kind.
Make & Mend Marina
Right along the harbor, you’ll gain a strong foundation in basic hand sewing techniques like the versatile whipstitch.
Stitch & Style Stream
Discover your artful side with additional stitch types that can be used for adding extra personality to your creations.
